Profile views: 1000

Purchases: 5 · 5.00% of outbound clicks

Estimated revenue: Add average order value. Estimated contribution after the entered costs: —. Revenue and contribution are not guaranteed profit.

Overall purchases per profile view: 0.50%. Stage changes: 800 between views and visits; 100 between visits and clicks; 95 between clicks and purchases.

Largest observed proportional drop: outbound clicks to purchases (95.0%). Check attribution, audience intent and cost before deciding what to improve.

A 10% relative increase in outbound clicks models 5.5 purchases, assuming other rates stay constant. A relative increase differs from percentage points; this is arithmetic, not a guaranteed forecast.

What does this tool do?

Understand how social attention turns into purchases. Enter profile views, bio-page visits, outbound clicks and orders from the same period. The calculator shows the conversion between each stage and how many people or actions are lost before the next step. Add average order value to estimate revenue and optional costs to model contribution after marketing expense.

How to use it and example

For example, 10,000 profile views, 1,000 bio visits, 250 outbound clicks and 10 orders produce a 10% visit ratio, 25% outbound click ratio and 4% click-to-order ratio. At a $40 average order value, the model estimates $400 revenue. Test an uplift in one stage at a time to see where improvements have the largest mathematical effect. Results are illustrative, not guaranteed sales or benchmarks.

Frequently asked questions

How do I calculate funnel conversion at each stage?

Divide the number of events or users reaching the next stage by the previous stage count, then multiply by 100. Use compatible counting methods.

Can I estimate revenue from social media clicks?

Yes. Multiply modeled purchases by average order value, but the estimate depends on your input quality and assumptions.

Why might a funnel stage be larger than the preceding stage?

Different attribution periods, repeat actions, event counting or tracking gaps can cause this. Investigate measurement before treating the figures as a clean user funnel.

Which part of my funnel should I improve first?

Look at stage drop-offs along with traffic intent and business cost; the largest percentage drop is not automatically the best investment.
